This little known area, approx 10 kms, on the outskirts of Sawai Madhopur City, is in the heart of the Aravalli Hill range. The camp is set up as a conservation area in conjuntion with the surrounding villages. The countryside provides an ideal habitat for India's native wildlife and birds.
The Sanctuary is open all day everyday which allows game viewing at the most opportune time of the day - early morning or evening at the waterhole and by night with the use of a spot-light.
Take a guided nature walk or hike through the hills with an experienced Naturalist providing an opportunity to enjoy nature at close quarters!
Take a break at one of the viewing points for photos, snacks, or simply a rest and take in the breath-taking scenery below.
The rocky hills are one of the best habitats in the area for the Leopard - as it stalks its prey or simply walks to the waterhole, listen to the alarm calls of the deer, antelope or the monkeys. Follow the calls and the footprints and you may well be rewarded with a sighting of this beautiful animal.
This is also a bird-lovers paradise with many rare species including the Honey Buzzard, the Indian Coarser, the Indian Sand Grouse and the nocturnal Night Jar to name but a few.

To really experience the wonder of this beautiful place spend a night at the small tented camp at the base of the hills. The waterhole is close by, so as dinner is served around the camp fire, listen to the sounds of the forest and gaze at the clear star filled sky.
